I created a list of the days available for our group to begin filming or creating photos for our animatic/poster which will help us plan ahead for when we are able to achieve the final product, all that's needed is the times our actors are free so we can arrange with them what days we are able to use them gather our shots

The story board for our film trailer is all in place to give us an insight into, how long the trailer will roughly be, the shot order process as well as several intertitles that are yet to be placed and confirmed where it is we want to leave them in the trailer itself.
The beginning of our animatic should help us see what the end result would roughly look like by following this plan, although it will have amendments as, by train time we begin to film additional shots may be added or even shots may be extended to allow more context to a scene.

PTSD Research.
PTSD Research findings and what we need to look out for as a group.
What is PTSD?
What is PTSD?
TSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) is a mental health problem that some people develop after experiencing or witnessing a life-threatening event, like combat, a natural disaster, a car accident, or sexual assault.
It's normal to have upsetting memories, feel on edge, or have trouble sleeping after this type of event. At first, it may be hard to do normal daily activities, like go to work, go to school, or spend time with people you care about. But most people start to feel better after a few weeks or months.
If it's been longer than a few months and you're still having symptoms, you may have PTSD. For some people, PTSD symptoms may start later on, or they may come and go over time.
PTSD in Soldiers:
PTSD is found commonly in those who have served in the military.
"Post-traumatic Stress Disorder can occur following a life-threatening event like military combat, natural disasters, terrorist incidents, serious accidents, or violent personal assaults like rape. Most survivors of trauma return to normal given a little time. However, some people have stress reactions that don't go away on their own, or may even get worse over time. These individuals may develop PTSD."
These effects that are found in soldiers can be created from such life threatening events that, if anything that may seem similar to the event can trigger the PTSD to take effect, therefore there may be either, a disclaimer in our trailer/film to identify these issues or a minimal amount of military footage that would become too sensitive for our audience.
American Sniper Film Poster Analysis.
Reasons for choice:
The film choice of American Sniper is perfect to analyse for our personal poster choice as it reflects on the essence of themes that we want to express in out own film, that being of PTSD and the massive effects it can have, war and a lone wold experience.
-Soldier Background
-Sniper
-Lone Wolf
Unique Selling Point.
The unique selling point of American Sniper was "Most Lethal Sniper in US History"
This links to our film well as we want to portray a powerful USP similar to this that has an effect and strong grasp towards the audience for our target audience.
Target Audience
The target audience is based more on those who have had a relation to this experience or that of ages 18-35 due to how effecting the plot is, delving deep into the traumas of war. As this is what we pan to do for our film we must take caution to not go too deep into the effects as it can be sensitive information, a poster as simplistic as this would be fitting for our target audience, style without effecting sensitive areas.
Analysis of the Title:
American Sniper
-Relating to his country -Shows his skill and expertise
and his background -Outlines his loneliness
All the points of the title reference to the film its self with strong significance and this is something that we would need to think of as a group to make a strong title that captures the essence of the films plot.
Significance of the Image - 75% of the poster
The flag symbolises a circulation of protection as if he is being protected by the country he fights for. The side on Figure shows how he isn't self absorbed, that he is doing what he does for his country. The fact he also has his back to us allows us to see him as vulnerable which also gives the audience the questions of, where is he? Whats he doing? As well as why is he vulnerable, is he safe? All of these questions are what would run through a consumers mind when viewing the image initially drawing them in to watch the film which is what the poster i plan to make needs to do.
The American flag symbolises his patriotism and how he has to abide by it, showing him as a patriotic soldier, although, the image suggests he is in an informal position as if he is off guard which also makes the audience question why he has lowered his guard in combat.
Lighting
The lighting symbolises him in a high light as it almost glows around him. This foreshadows his displays of war and his actions making him seem heroic, but as the informal stance and the flag suggest, he does it not for him self but for his country which gives the audience an in depth idea into who this character truly is.
Angle
The angle of this poster is highly significant as it shows him as being looked up to. This shows his high status in the american army showing him as a high character.
Text Positioning
The text for the actors are located to the top of the poster, which is highly traditional which usually display what type of film to expect as it links to what the actors are highly known for. The Title is also clear and visible which is in a traditional place as well as the Billing Block which, just above has the USP.
